We were a mark shop before we were a bag shop.
Markwright is the direct-to-consumer brand of PROMO DADDY LLC, a company in Melbourne, Florida. The equipment came first. The bags came later, and only because we kept being asked to put a name on something worth keeping.
Where this came from
Same benches, different customer.
For years the work was corporate: run a client’s logo across a few hundred items, pack them, ship them, do it again. The skill was never the logo. It was knowing how deep to cut a hide before it goes through, how long brass has to dwell before foil bonds, and how dense a satin stitch can be before the cloth puckers.
That skill is worth more to one person than to a purchasing department. A company wants a thousand identical marks. A person wants one mark that is theirs, cut properly, on something they will carry for a decade. So we turned the benches around.
Markwright does not take third-party artwork and does not reproduce anyone else’s marks. Everything we cut is a customer’s own words, and every string is read by a person before a machine touches it. That is the whole business, and it is the reason we can say no to work.

Position
What we will and will not do.
A narrow catalogue is a decision, not a limitation. Everything here is a soft-sided carrier with at least one face flat enough to set type on.
We do
- Totes, weekenders, backpacks, work bags, gym and drawstring bags
- Your own name, initials, dates, coordinates and phrases
- Up to two marks on one bag, on different faces
- Sets: several of the same bag, each with a different string
- Measured specifications on every page, including working loads
We do not
- Corporate logo runs or any third-party artwork
- Trademarks, team crests, characters or licensed material
- Hard-shell luggage, luggage tags, passport covers or wash bags
- Claims about theft resistance, waterproofing or security screening
- Subscriptions, memberships, points or stored balances
